Our Compostable Clear Cold Cups are the way to go!! This cup is made from 100% renewable resources (made from plants) and it returns back to the ground in a commercial composting facility. The choice to us is clear as our cups lower one’s carbon footprint by up to 80% than traditional packaging without comprising on quality or durability.
What are the benefits of Sustainable Clear Cups?Manufactured from corn - a renewable resource, PLA is cost competitive with regular petroleum-based resins such as PET and most likely cost advantaged in the future given rising petroleum prices. CPLA is plant plastic which means it is heat tolerant, opaque in colour and can break down fully – meaning it goes back into the ground and is 100% suitable for food use.It contains no toxins and has no effects on the flavours of the food (fewer indeed, we believe, than the non-renewable alternatives available).
